Here is a cool site about indoor gardens. One of the features is a PC case made into a hydroponic set up!

ecofeminism
I was reading an article about teaching environmental art, and I came across the term "ecofeminism". When I had heard this term before, I assumed that ecofeminists were just feminists who cared about the environment. The more I read up on it, however, I realized that being an ecofeminist meant disaproving the hierarchal structure which exists between humans, nature, and other organisms. It also links the subordination of women and other minorities to the subordination of nature. I didn't know there was a term for seeking equality between humans and nature, and I'd just thought I'd share this in case anyone else didn't know, either. Here is the Wiki page on ecofeminism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecofeminism

Superfund 365 and Baile Oakes
Here is the site I was talking about although I was wrong about them wanting you to send in photos, it was a one year project that started in 2008 where they visited 365 Superfund sites all over the U.S., Koppers was one of them. It is a great site to look at because there is a lot of information on each of the sites and on Superfund in general (there is even a list of the top 25 responsible parties, Chevron is #1 with 63 sites across the U.S.). I really like the way they present the information and anyone interested in web design should check it out:

Also here is the artist Baile Oakes to get an idea of interactive educational art that we may want to pursue for the collaborative project:
